The Business Continuity Manager plays a key role in the end-to-end resilience lifecycle, focusing on the development and maintenance of Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) including testing and validating. This role ensures that all commercial operations are mapped to critical functions and that recovery strategies are data-driven and actionable. By leveraging BCM tooling, the manager maintains a live repository of plans that safeguard the customer and partner experience during disruptions.

This role will need to operate in a uniquely challenging environment where comprehensive digital resilience regulations, specifically DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) and NIS2 are now applicable. This role will support the transition into this regulated landscape, ensuring that our BIA and BCP processes meet these standards of operational resilience across all identified critical functions.

Success in this role requires high-impact communication and seamless collaboration within a tight-knit, cross-functional team. Because the BCM programme touches on every corner of the organization, you must build strong, trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders to ensure recovery strategies are understood and embedded.

  • Lead the delivery of Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Risk Assessments, working with key stakeholders to identify operational risks, map critical functions, and prioritize recovery strategies.

  • Execute the Global BCM roadmap and contribute to the ongoing review and continuous improvement of the BCM program.

  • Assess and monitor key third-party and partner BCM arrangements to ensure supply chain resilience.

  • Facilitate the BCM lifecycle by conducting plan development, training, and exercise workshops to raise awareness and ensure preparedness for disruptive events.

  • Support Crisis Management through the coordination of training, simulations, and real-time activations.

  • Ensures preparedness by facilitating plan development, training, and exercise workshops to ensure teams are ready for disruptions.
