The Change & Implementation Consultant is a vital, hands-on partner to the Program Lead on a top-priority Booking initiative. You will provide the analytical rigor, strategic framework, and change design expertise necessary to define what change is needed and how to execute it. This is a multi-skilled role combining strategic consultancy with practical change and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Independently drive the initial analysis for diverse strategic problems, identifying key stakeholders and co-creating proposed, organization-wide solutions.

  • Support the Program Lead in developing the long-term roadmap, providing proactive advice on potential improvements and risk mitigation.

  • Once decisions are made, collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions, ensuring sustained adoption and transitioning ownership to the appropriate business owner using change management methodologies and Booking standards.

  • Design, manage, and monitor the execution of proof-of-concept (PoC) or pilot activities for new ways of working (WoW) or delivery models. This includes defining success criteria, coordinating implementation resources, tracking metrics, and summarizing pilot outcomes for Program Lead review.

  • Own the organizational readiness assessment and manage the impact tracking for implementation cycles. This involves identifying specific department impacts, developing targeted resistance mitigation plans, and tracking user adoption and proficiency metrics during and immediately after deployment.

Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in analyzing current ways of working and designing new, scalable operating models and delivery frameworks (e.g., Agile at Scale, Portfolio Management).

  • Demonstrating high learning agility by pivoting between subject matters and delivering expert-level insights on short notice.

  • Ability to create and deliver concise, persuasive, and data-backed executive slide decks and proposals for senior leadership decision-making.

  • Experience in diagnosing ambiguous, complex organizational problems and structuring them into clear, hypothesis-driven analytical workstreams.

  • Ability to translate strategic topics into practical, phased implementation roadmaps and defining clear change management requirements.

  • Demonstrated capability to engage, manage, and influence senior leaders (Program Leads, VPs) to secure alignment and consensus on sensitive organizational changes.

  • High level of personal drive and independence to own the strategic output of complex workstreams without requiring constant direction.

  • Strong ability to synthesize data from multiple sources (quantitative and qualitative) into clear insights that drive strategic recommendations.

  • Skill in leading targeted, outcome-focused workshops with senior stakeholders to co-design solutions and accelerate decision cycles.

  • Solid understanding of how large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs are structured and governed, enabling effective support to the Program Leads.

This role requires a proactive, pragmatic, and dynamic individual capable of driving significant change and ensuring the successful implementation within Booking.com.
