The Conga Team is part of Financial Systems, and we are part of the Booking.com FinTech (800+ people in tech) department!


We are looking for an enthusiastic Conga CLM QA professional to join the ranks of our Bangalore CoE. Help us meet increasing demand from the business, support our rapidly growing portfolio of automation and make an impact across every business area at Booking.com. The Conga Team is a service provider for the entire company, operating with a large degree of autonomy and enterpreneurship.


This role is for the engagement of a QA Test Lead resource for 5 months from 1/8/25 to 31/12/25


What will you be doing?


  • As a Conga QA Test Lead, you are responsible for all test activities of our Conga Contract Lifecycle Platform, built on Salesforce. You will work with the Conga Team, our Product Managers, our Conga CLM / Salesforce Developers and Engineers, and subject matter experts to support and ehnance Conga CLM.



  • The QA Test Lead will be responsible for delivery of all QA / Testing Services to the Conga CLM Development Team in Amsterdam and Bangalore. This is for the user stories delivered in each fortnightly sprint, for all large projects delivered by the Conga Team, and for System Upgrades, and other Conga CLM Enhancements. The QA Lead is responsible for the delivery of all test and QA activities, which ensures the integrity, quality and reliability of Conga CLM.



  • This includes testing activities across the whole Conga CLM Teams development lifecycle, from providing estimations of the test effort, during Conga Team Sprint Refinements, Sprint Planning, through to preparing / documenting / executing / organising QA testing for the Conga CLM Development Team of 6 Developers


  • You will also be responsible for making technical decisions within a team and for driving end-to-end process automations to deliver stable CMS solutions which meet the business requirements and organizational efficiency.


Responsibilities




3.1 Core Skills / Functional Conga CLM QA Test Lead Requirements


  • Extensive Contract Lifecycle Management Experience, extensive


  • Extensive Conga CLM test experience working with Apttus/ Conga CLM, Conga Advanced Approvals, Salesforce, Mulesoft, Docusign, API Testing, AEM Testing, Test script authoring


  • Advanced Jira knowledge and other test management tool knowledge


  • Advanced process orientated knowledge of Contracting, Contracting Processes


  • Strong communication skills as you will liaise with Conga CLM Team Stakeholders, presenting / demo’ing new functionality during the Sprint Demos every fortnight.


  • Ability to work independently


  • Extensive prior experience working as a QA Test Lead


  • Strong data migration test experience


  • Strong salesforce Classic and Lightning Test Experience


3.2 Fortnightly Conga CLM Team Agile Sprint Participation


  • Actively participate in the fortnightly sprint cadence.


  • Help refine and estimate user stories from a testing perspective, ensuring testability.


  • Assist in estimating the level of effort required for testing user stories.


  • Attend and contribute to daily stand-ups.


  • Preparation of Conga Sprint Release Notes.


  • Active participation / lead Conga Demos, to Conga End Business Stakeholders, during Sprint Demo meetings.


3.3 Conga System Integration Testing (SIT) and Conga User Acceptance Testing (UAT)


  • Plan, document, and execute SIT and UAT for all user stories included in the sprint.


  • Develop and maintain test scripts for each user story.


  • Execute test scripts and document test results.


  • Provide formal test sign-off on successfully completed user stories.


3.4 Plan, Document & Execute Regression Testing


  • Plan and execute full regression testing for Conga CLM upgrades and Salesforce platform upgrades.


  • Create, maintain, and update a suite of end-to-end Conga CLM test scripts.


  • Document and execute test scripts, ensuring thorough test coverage.


  • Record test evidence and track issues.


3.5 Defect Management/ Manage Defect Resolution Including Testing


  • Raise, track, and manage defects, incidents, and test failures in Jira.


  • Work closely with developers to follow up on resolutions for identified issues.


  • Retest and verify defect resolutions.


3.6 Continuous Improvement of Test Assets


  • Continuously update and maintain SIT, UAT, and Regression test scripts for Conga CLM.


  • Enhance test coverage and optimize test execution efficiency.


3.7 QA Support for Conga CLM Team Large-Scale Projects / Testing of Conga Roadmap Items


  • Prepare test plans for larger projects, such as the onboarding of new business units onto Conga CLM, or Conga Integration Projects.


  • Develop UAT test scripts and coordinate UAT execution.


  • Support test execution and track test progress.


  • Ensure comprehensive validation of business requirements through testing.


3.8 General Conga CLM QA / Test Lead Responsibilities


  • Perform all standard responsibilities expected of a Salesforce QA/Test Lead.


  • Provide reports on test progress, test coverage, and defect status.


  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to enhance test processes.


  • Support the identification of opportunities for automation testing and assist in test automation strategy.





4. Deliverables


  • Test Plans: Minimum of 1 test plan per sprint cycle and 1 test plan for each large-scale project, delivered in a standardized template format.


  • Test Scripts: SIT and UAT test scripts for all user stories, documented in a shared repository (e.g., Confluence).


  • Regression Test Scripts: Suite of regression test scripts for Conga and Salesforce upgrades, updated and maintained in the shared repository.


  • Test Execution Reports: Weekly reports summarizing test execution progress, including pass/fail rates and test coverage metrics.


  • Defect Logs: Daily updates to defect logs in Jira, with detailed descriptions and steps to reproduce.


  • Test Sign-off Documentation: Formal sign-off documents for each successfully completed user story and test cycle.


  • QA Documentation and Test Repository: Continuous updates to documentation and test repository, ensuring all materials are current and accessible.





5. Milestones


  • Sprint Planning: Active participation in all sprint planning sessions (bi-weekly).


  • Test Script Development: Completion of test scripts within 3 days of user story finalization.


  • SIT/UAT Execution: Completion of SIT/UAT within the sprint cycle.


  • Regression Testing: Completion of regression testing within 1 week of each Conga or Salesforce upgrade.


  • Weekly Progress Reports: Submission of weekly test execution reports every Friday.


  • Sprint Demo: Provide Sprint Demo to business at the end of every sprint every fortnight


  • Preparation of Sprint Release notes - during every Conga CLM Sprint Release - every fortnight





6. Conga CLM QA Test Lead / Acceptance Criteria


  • Effective participation in 100% of Agile ceremonies and sprint planning sessions.


  • Completion of 95% of planned SIT, UAT, and regression tests with proper documentation within the defined timelines.


  • Less than 5 post-release defects per sprint cycle.


  • Resolution of 90% of identified defects within 2 business days.


  • Maintenance of 100% of test assets with up-to-date information.


  • Provision of Test Services that are up to the standard expected from a rigorous Conga CLM Team



Other Responsabilities


  • Test support for a Development Team, who develop of smart, scalable, flexible, and high-performance CLM Enhancements.


  • Providing test support for our Develoment team who deliver functional enhancements, new features, and other Conga CLM related projects throughout the B.com Conga Teams software development life-cycle,


  • Able to work with internal colleagues, teams and stakeholders and external users, superusers, and other Conga stakeholders.


  • Able to quickly learn how B.com


  • Excellent communicator to tackle business problems with both technical and non-technical audiences,


  • Ability to tackle technical challenges during Conga/Salesforce development; particularly when cross platform automation is required,


  • Define and establish Conga and Salesforce development and coding standards,


  • Create up-to-date Conga CLM solution design documentation,


  • Be curious to experiment and integrate cognitive automation techniques to the existing CMS landscape.


  • Support the creation of strong and positive understanding of CMS technology in the organization and be actively involved in CMS process pipeline creation and prioritization.



What will you bring to the role?


5+ years of Conga or Salesforce Test Experience, familiar with working with functional consulatants, developers and engineers.


1+ years of Conga CLM ( formerly Apttus) real world product experience.


Strong knowledge of Contract Management Lifecycle process


Collaborating with Salesforce Engineering team


Able to test salesforce custom and configuration components, including Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce, (based on specific requirements) to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements


Able to test salesforce custom user interface development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components and Lightning Web Components.


Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization.


Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development.


Able to test Integrations with Mulesoft.


Able to test other applications such as Docusign etc


Able to collaborate within the Conga Team, with the Conga Product Manager, Engineering Lead, and your colleagues on the Conga Engineering team. for other systems in order to integrate across the business


Experience designing, developing, deploying and maintaining software in a production setting.


Experience working in a scrum/agile environment.


Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal.


Salesforce Developer or Architecture Certifications are required, ie Certified Salesforce Administrator,Certified Platform App Builder,Certified Platform Developer I/II will be an added advantage.


Conga CLM or CPQ Certifications would be great.
