Data & AI Literacy Programme Lead (For independent contractors)
Responsible for designing role-specific training pathways, managing external vendors, and tracking engagement metrics to ensure all staff, from leadership to engineering to operations, can effectively work with Data & AI. The role requires a strong operational mindset and previous experience delivering large-scale data enablement programs in a digital environment.
Overview
We are looking for a hands-on contractor to build and run our Data and AI Literacy Programme across a fast-paced, tech-driven travel organisation. This role focuses on execution, turning strategy into practical learning experiences tailored to employees of different roles, seniority levels, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Translate business needs into actionable Data & AI learning plans for different personas (e.g., product, engineering, commercial, operations, leadership)
Design and implement role-based, level-appropriate training pathways (from Not aware to foundational to advanced)
Coordinate rollout of training programmes, including scheduling, communications, and stakeholder alignment
Identify, evaluate, and manage external vendors and learning platforms
Align with internal learning teams and leverage the internally available learning platform
Track participation, engagement, and impact; continuously optimise the programme based on data
Act as the central point of contact for all Data & AI literacy initiatives across the organisation
Requirements
Demonstrated experience delivering Data and/or AI literacy or enablement programmes in large, fast-paced tech organisations (travel or digital platforms a plus)
Strong operational mindset with the ability to manage end-to-end programme delivery
Understanding of data, analytics, and AI concepts in a business context
Experience working with diverse stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
Ability to prioritise, execute quickly, and adapt in a dynamic environment
Experience with defining and monitoring key performace and risk indicators to adapt accordingly
