Data Analyst (For independent contractors)
Please note, this is a 3-month long assignment for freelancers.
The Data Analyst II will be expected to drive analytics tasks such as reporting, visualization, and analysis within the project.
They will understand business problems relating to the project goals and collaborate with peers and stakeholders to solve them using data analytics.
They will define problems, set success metrics, and provide data insights through effective communication.
They will manage junior to mid-level stakeholders autonomously and prioritise tasks for business impact.
They will adapt to business needs, manage expectations, and use their knowledge of data, workflows, and tools to drive analysis and reporting.
They will find opportunities to apply new concepts, deliver scalable solutions, mentor peers, and ensure data quality and stability.
Responsibilities and requirements:
Collaborating with another data analyst.
Assisting with PySpark code development and optimization.
Conducting ad-hoc research to address questions from business/Operations on performance indicators trends.
Updating current KPIs calculations to align with recent business changes.
Working primarily within the scope of the project to deliver work that informs business decisions for the product / business topic in the area they will be working in, occasionally collaborating across multiple teams.
Effectively communicates, addresses stakeholder needs, and conveys complex analysis results in a clear manner.
Ensures quality of their own work by validating it through peer review.
Tech stack: PySpark, SQL, Tableau.
