The Experience Measurement team is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support the data migration efforts of the team, and to support analyses and dashboarding on the main partner and traveler surveys, key research initiatives with strategic importance for stakeholders across the business, including Leadership, Product and Strategy.


Senior Data Analysts are the craft leaders and point of reference for analytics resources such as reporting, visualization and analysis needs within their area. They have a deep understanding of business problems, adopt a customer lens and problem solving approach through timely analytics. They can use their expertise of the data, workflows, methods and tooling to autonomously drive analysis and reporting within their scope. They can find opportunities to apply new concepts and approaches into action based on business and user needs. This involves reporting, visualization and taking ownership of workflows and structures to make their solutions scalable, reproducible and long-term focused. They collaborate and coach peers in their craft and support initiatives for data quality and stability, using their experience to think of scalable solutions.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Work with large scale data assets


  • Deliver key visualizations of large scale survey data in Tableau


  • Responsible for workflow creation and management to enable the visualization


  • Apply statistical models used within their scope for basic descriptive statistics reporting


  • Ensure scalability, reproducibility and long term orientation in the work they do


  • Collaborate and be open to giving and receiving feedback with peers and direct stakeholders


  • Be flexible in proposing and spotting opportunities to apply new approaches and expanding technical competencies


  • Responsible for data management related Data Governance processes (e.g. data asset creation, data classification)


  • Create workflows that built on raw events data collected through c360 and produce more digestible behavioral datasets in relation to Quest data


  • Delivery of scripts/(maybe workflows) that create connections between various data sources related to Quest such as experiment data, survey data and behavioral events



Level of Education:


  • Bachelor degree


  • Master degree



Requirements of special knowledge/skills:


  • Excellent Tableau knowledge and data visualization experience, including performance optimization and Snowflake integration


  • Experience with Airflow


  • Expertise in architecting, building and maintaining efficient & reliable data models and pipelines, especially for data visualization and analysis.


  • Expertise in SQL & Python


  • Expertise in big data ecosystems


  • Familiarity with GitLab


  • Familiarity with survey data with emphasis on its complexities for tableau visualization


  • Familiarity with Qualtrics


  • Familiarity with experimentation


  • Openness to feedback and a strong team player
