Data Observability Specialist (For independent contractors)

The Data Observability Specialist shall support the Technical Product Manager and the engineering team in building and establishing the Enterprise Data Observability capability at Booking.com.

Responsibilities:

- Support the Data Observability tooling adoption across the Business Units

- Contribute to the Data Observability standard (how the good should like, the roles and responsibilities across the organisation)

- Creation of the Data Observability playbooks (user documentation) for available tooling

- Contribute to Data Observability metrics definition

- Reporting and dashboarding documentation for Data Observability

Experience:

- Technical background (coming from data engineering, data governance or data management)

- Proven hands-on experience with Data Observability

- Experience with at least one Data Observability tool from the market (Acceldata, Datadog, MonteCarlo, DQLab, Validio)

- Ability to analyse and produce documentation

- Good communication skills, ability to influence technical and business stakeholders
