Please note, this is a 6 month-long assignment for freelancers, weekly office presence is required.


Digital Messaging Specialists are channel experts who deliver the highest quality work based on their experience in creating engaging email campaigns. With email marketing as a foundational go-to-market messaging channel, run and distribute digital communications towards our accommodation partners around the globe.


Work closely with stakeholders and project owners across the company to deliver the right message at the right time to the right audience via the right channel, such as email and banners. Through your experience in email marketing, you are able to advise stakeholders in developing partner-centric messaging strategies. As part of your end-to-end ownership, be responsible for setting up campaigns in our tooling infrastructure, while ensuring our quality standards across the team. In addition, you constantly optimize channel performance through campaign analysis and reporting, and by setting up A/B-Tests to improve reach and engagement of the team.


This role is part of the Digital Channels team within Digital Partner Experience (DPE). We focus on digitally managing our accommodation partners in 43+ local languages to strengthen our partnership and ultimately empower them to discover commercial growth opportunities. Our target audience includes a diverse range of accommodations, who are currently in partnership or in the process of partnering with Booking.com.




KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Ensure day to day design and delivery of campaigns, tasks, and/or continuous activities.


  • Be a consultant for stakeholders on how to deliver a message to the intended audience keeping our partners needs in mind.


  • Coordinate with stakeholders (eg. copywriters, translators, analyst, creative team, technology team) to get messages ready for send out.


  • Build the complete campaign setup in the backend tools (eg. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Booking Internal Tools, etc.) and prepare the different digital touchpoints.


  • Support the team with quality checks and campaign reviews.


  • Monitor reach, engagement and satisfaction metrics within campaigns and provide reports, insights and feedback to stakeholders.


  • Have an optimisation approach. Design and implement hypothesis-driven A/B-Tests in order to optimize the performance of your campaigns and channels.


  • Contribute to multi-channel marketing plans with the most efficient sub-plan for your channels, in alignment with the approach for other channels.


  • Be a digital channel specialist and be seen as an expert and key driver/iterator of stakeholders’ goals ultimately driving value.






REQUIREMENTS OF SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS


  • 3+ years of experience implementing email marketing campaigns on a global level, preferably in a Business-to-Business context connected to a multinational organization.


  • Experience with Marketing Automation tools from 3rd party vendors. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a must.


  • Eye for detail and a precise way of working.


  • Experience with digital marketing data analysis and reporting, including A/B testing (basic experience with SQL is a plus).


  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.


  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle time efficiently.


  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
