We are seeking a proactive Finance Change Lead to join our team and assist in driving our Finance Transformation. This role is essential for ensuring successful adoption of changes across our organization. If you have solid Change Management skills and experience working on complex projects, especially operating model related, we want to hear from you.


Qualifications:


  • Change Management Knowledge: Strong understanding (5-8yrs) of Change Management principles and practices.


  • Proactive and Collaborative Work Style: Must be willing and able to work effectively as a team and identify and address opportunities/challenges


  • Problem Solving and Adaptability: Skilled at managing ambiguity, conflicting priorities, and changes in scope.


  • Stakeholder Engagement: Experienced in fostering clear communication and managing relationships with stakeholders.


  • Analytical Skills: Ability to assess and understand the broader impact of changes within the organization.


  • Clear, concise, and compelling communications (both written and verbal)


  • Strong stakeholder management + influencer (VP upwards)


  • Knack for simplifying complexity


Key Responsibilities


Change Strategy


  • Good understanding of a sub-department within a Business Unit. Solid Understanding of the Business Unit and Booking.com. Able to connect BU objectives to wider organizational objectives.


  • Identifies and understands the change impacts on multiple impacted audience groups.


  • Designs effective change strategies, tailored to the needs of audiences and the business.


  • Gains buy in to change plan and strategy from leadership and stakeholders.


  • Understands and influences implementation strategy beyond change scope and contributes to end to end execution



Planning & Execution


  • Designs and executes complex change plans, tailored to audience needs.


  • Develops and implements new ideas and improvements for change management practices and activities.


  • Identifies KPIs and metrics to track the success of change strategy and plan. Adjusts strategy and plan as a result.


  • Coordinates and influences internal and external teams, where needed, to execute change activities.


  • Supports project/program management, where needed, by creating clear change roadmaps and aligning change activities with other program activities



Audience & Engagement


  • Influence up to Sr Manager level and productively interacts with Director level


  • Builds strong relationships within their team and with peers. Is growing a broad network.


  • Adapts style to audience


  • Actively listens and asks insightful questions to read between the lines and better understand true motivations and perspectives. Shows empathy and understanding to others.



Enable Storytelling


  • Creates excellent and engaging content to support the changes


  • Effectively tailors format, style and content to audience needs


  • Assimilates information from a variety of sources to create simple and clear messages.


  • Knows when to include internal communications, (external) designers, other skillset to create engaging content.


  • Creates excellent content by assimilating complex, technical and strategic information and translating it into simple, compelling and clear messages and storylines.
