Purpose of the role

Marketplace Geo Intelligence is taking over ongoing operational ownership of the UFI (Unique Facility Identifier) dataset. We are looking for two temporary contingent resources to provide BAU operational capacity during and after this transition.

The role will support the accurate, compliant and timely maintenance of UFI data. The work is operational and process-driven, with a high volume of manual review and data-quality activity. The current workload is approximately 900 UFI change requests per month.

Key responsibilities

  • Process and action UFI change requests in line with documented procedures and service expectations.

  • Perform manual review and correction of UFI records, including property-to-UFI assignments, duplicate detection, deduplication and anomaly handling.

  • Identify and flag records that may be duplicate, fake, invalid or otherwise inconsistent with data-quality rules.

  • Use the operational tools provided to review and update UFI records accurately.

  • Escalate tooling issues, unclear cases, process gaps and recurring data-quality problems to the Geo Analytics or Engineering team.

  • Maintain clear, audit-friendly records of changes, including what was changed, why it was changed and any relevant supporting information.

  • Support data-quality controls and compliance-related processes because UFI data can affect commission, financial controls and audit requirements.

  • Work closely with the Data Manager, Geo Analysts and Engineers on recurring issues and process improvements.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce repetitive manual work as new tooling and automation become available.

Candidate profile

  • Comfortable with high-volume, repetitive and detail-oriented operational work.

  • Strong attention to accuracy and consistency.

  • Able to follow documented processes precisely and apply rules consistently.

  • Comfortable investigating anomalies and escalating cases when the correct action is unclear.

  • Experience with data entry, ticketing systems, operational support tools or data-quality processes.

  • Familiarity with geographic, location or property data is an advantage but not essential.

  • Able to work independently while collaborating with a distributed analytics and engineering team.

  • Comfortable working with sensitive operational and compliance-related data.

  • Command of fleunt use of English language is a requirement

Scope clarification

This role is for ongoing UFI operational processing, manual review and data-quality support. It does not include software-development ownership. Separate engineering capacity is being considered for tooling and automation work.

Duration

Temporary assignment linked to the UFI ownership transition and BAU capacity needs. The initial assignment duration and any extensions will be agreed through the GIGS process.

The payrate for independent contractors is 20-60 EUR/hr.
