HR Business Partner I. ( For independent contractors)

We are looking for an HR Business Partners to join the Corporate Functions HR Advisory team. We are closely connected with our BHI colleagues, both in the US as well as in the CoEs.
You will report to the respective Senior HR Managers who are both based in Amsterdam and develop a close collaborative relationship with the teams you support, peer HR Business Partners and the HR Centres of Expertise (CoE).
Our Corporate Functions are on an exciting journey as we partner with the business to achieve today’s goals and get ready for a sustainable future. This requires us to partner closely on our ambitious people agenda and collaborate closely with all of our HR CoE partners.
Both teams have (Senior) HRBPs that partner with the key leaders and an HR Generalist who provides operational HR advice and supports with day to day HR processes across the scope. As an HRBP I, you will support across the respective scope, owning the relationships with our middle management layer and driving key HR projects. You will coach, consult and advise management on human resource-related topics. You act as an employee experience and change expert and you anticipate HR-related needs.

Be responsible:
In all Business Partner roles, the core objective is to advise and partner with (different levels of) management of an allocated teams across various (HR) topics, as well as implement HR policy to contribute optimally to achieving organizational objectives through sufficient staffing levels and efficient organization. Business Partner roles should focus on reinforcing the quality of line manager leadership responsibilities and capabilities.
Partner, coach and challenge business leaders on People related topics, actively engaging on tactical and strategic topics, problem statements, business goals and priorities, balancing the HR, manager, employee, and company perspectives.
Partner with dedicated team/s and be responsible for end to end development, delivery and adoption of critical People topics within the team/s you partner with (e.g. promote and enable engagement conversations, performance optimisation, implement programs that attract and retain talent).
Lead, drive and own specific People topics end to end across the respective scope in areas such as Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits or Learning and DEI.
Handle day to day challenges like absence and performance management, disciplinary procedures, and coaching of people managers.
Be responsible for ensuring the capabilities needed in the respective organisations are there to deliver the business targets.
Create tailored solutions for people challenges in partnership with (relevant) CoEs and People Services & Systems (PSS).
To be the voice of the business within the People Department. Accountable for identifying, predicting and articulating key people related business challenges.
Represent the People Department in front of your business partners. Ensure the business receives consistent quality of service and guidance so the business feels the People Department is acting as one voice.
Change management: Partner with your business on change initiatives. As necessary, help guide your business through the Works Council processes if needed.
Required skills:
HR Business partnering experience required;
NL labor law experience required;
Able to develop strong relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders within the organization;
Proactive and thought-through approach to problem solving;
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment and able to guide their stakeholders through this environment;
Previous experience in a commercial, international environment;
Proactive, data-driven, takes initiative, able to perform and prioritize without close supervision.
