This role is part of the Digital Partner Ecosystem Track (DPE), which works to engage with partners through digital marketing channels to use our platform more effectively and grow their business across all lifecycle stages. When partners grow their business with us, it directly influences our company’s top-line results. The department delivers personalized commercial advice via scaled channels, inspires, educates, and informs partners via our platforms and channels, and provides self-support via our content.


Our target audience is all accommodation partners globally who are currently in partnership with or in the process of partnering with Booking.com. The DPE teams engage with partners through digital marketing channels, driving digital marketing strategies such as content marketing, product marketing, and go-to-market strategies.


The Lead - Digital Performance & Growth owns DPE’s commercial metrics reporting and opportunity finding and delivers impact by driving and delivering the reporting on the commercial steering metrics and identifying insights, optimizing funnel performance, and ensuring initiatives drive measurable business growth. This role helps DPE understand and optimize our business impact and collaborates across teams to maximize our insights and effectiveness.


The goal of the Lead - Digital Performance & Growth is to be an expert in commercial performance, playing a key part in identifying blockers, scaling successful strategies, and ensuring DPE is agile in responding to market opportunities. The role will focus on optimizing our ability to drive Digitally Managed ABRN by focussing on our underlying steering metrics like OB Listings, Gross Additions, product adoptions and supply.



Responsibility


Commercial Performance


  • Deliver the reporting on all DPE commercial steering metrics and support the definition of the impact of underlying activities and campaigns.


  • Unpack anomalies and trend deviations within the reporting to understand new patterns and uncover insights.


  • Track and analyze performance trends to proactively address issues and optimize outcomes.


  • Provide actionable insights that fuel new DPE initiatives and help adjust existing plans for maximum impact.



Strategic Business Contribution


  • Operate within a consistent narrative on DPE’s commercial performance and the impact of the initiatives and programs to actively influence these metrics.


  • Drive DPE’s commercial agility by ensuring commercial insights are used to refine priorities.


  • Act as a key expert in commercial performance reporting and steering, proactively identifying business opportunities.


  • Support course correction efforts when DPE falls behind on targets, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.


  • Build a solid foundation of knowledge on DPE’s commercial contributions to company-wide priorities.



Stakeholder Collaboration & Influence


  • Work closely with Revenue Management, Product teams, Operations, and Data teams to implement and refine commercial reporting and steering.


  • Influence stakeholders with clear, data-backed recommendations on business priorities.


  • Act as the liaison with segments, regional, and global Commercial Excellence teams, ensuring alignment of commercial insights.



Project & Performance Management


  • Support the prioritization of commercial initiatives, ensuring they are prioritized based on impact.


  • Lead the development of tracking mechanisms to monitor initiative success.



Craft Leadership


  • Be a craft leader and autonomously coach your colleagues in delivering world-class results in their area.


  • Independently lead high-complexity (strategic/critical priority) initiatives with global impact, from initiation to delivery.


  • Lead best practice behaviors and methodologies within the craft across departments.


Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience in performance strategy, commercial steering, or related functions within a multinational organization.


  • Strong analytical skills with experience in leveraging commercial insights to drive business impact.


  • Strategic thinker, able to balance long-term vision with short- and medium-term goals and able to articulate long term vision.


  • Experience in using data and insights to discover commercial opportunities, and swiftly take advantage of those.


  • Strong query capabilities preferable.


  • Proven knowledge about the impact and qualities of digital marketing channels.


  • Proven track record of change management, supporting team members and business stakeholders.


  • Strong team player demonstrating flexibility and positive communication that motivates and influences achievement of their stakeholders


  • Creative thinker with a learning and experimentation mindset.


  • Exceptional oral and written communication with the ability to facilitate discussions with both execution and leadership teams.
