We are seeking an experienced Marketing Risk & Controls Analyst to support the Marketing Risk & Remediation team. This role focuses on executing project deliverables, working closely with our internal project management team. The primary goal is to document privacy compliance in marketing, identify and address compliance gaps, and establish a centralized document repository.

Max rate for independent contractor is between 50-95 EUR an hour


Responsibilities



- The Marketing Risk & Controls Analyst will be responsible for the following:


- Reviewing and documenting established processes and controls to ensure privacy compliance within marketing.


- Contributing to the creation of a centralized document repository containing documentation of processes and controls assuring compliance with specific privacy regulations.


- Participating in the analysis of the current state versus the desired state, and highlighting compliance gaps.


- Coordinating with stakeholders, such as Central Risk & Compliance, Marketing, Privacy, Legal, and others.


- Maintaining critical risk and controls documentation.


- Reporting conclusions on the documented processes and controls.


- Providing advice on internal risk and controls processes and facilitating implementation of enhancements.



Key Tasks


-Reviewing and analyzing documentation against established standards.


-Supporting the project team in creating a centralized document repository for all documentation related to processes and controls ensuring compliance with specific privacy regulations.


-Contributing to building change management practices to educate teams on new governance.


- Analyzing as-is versus to-be states and highlighting gaps.



Required Skills and Experience


- Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in privacy compliance or a related field.


- Strong understanding of GDPR and ePrivacy directive.


- Excellent documentation skills (preferable BPMN or comparable diagramming skills).


- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and different organizations within a business.


- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.


- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.


- Excellent communication skills.



Project Details


Project Name: Marketing Privacy Foundations


Project Objective: Document privacy compliance in marketing, discover and flag compliance gaps, establish a centralized document repository and processes to maintain it. Educate stakeholders on process changes to maintain the documentation framework.



Knowledge and Skills



  • Level of Education: Bachelor's degree (Business, Privacy Legal, or Technical degree preferred).



  • Years of relevant Job Knowledge: Broad Job Knowledge (3 - 5 years) with strong familiarity with European Privacy Regulations (GDPR, e-Privacy) required. Familiarity with business analysis and process documentation techniques (e.g., BPML) preferred. Familiarity with knowledge management systems desired.

  • Familiarity with GDPR/e-Privacy directive.


  • Familiarity with process documentation and knowledge management techniques.


  • Good understanding of high-tech environments and experience with supporting audits.


  • Strong skills in negotiating, relationship building, problem-solving, and timely problem escalation.


  • Strong analytical skills (experience with business analyses and process documentation).


  • Good business writing and oral communication skills (proficiency in English).


  • Time management and organizational skills.


  • Detail-oriented but able to quickly grasp the bigger picture.



B. Skilled


  • A minimum of Bachelor’s (post-secondary degree) preferably in Business, Privacy Legal, or Technical field.


  • Privacy certifications CIPP/E, experience in business analysis, and familiarity with compliance and knowledge management.


  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Jira, and Confluence.


  • Proficiency in Figma or Miro for purposes of process documentation is advantageous.
