Being a Product Marketing Manager is about actively participating in the process of product development, as well as scaling and improving products, features and services that help increase partner performance, improve customer experience and grow the commercial success of Booking.com.



Key Responsibilities


  • Manage all aspects of product marketing for a new product or a category, including: GTM strategy, new product launch, portfolio marketing strategy and execution, positioning, messaging, pricing, user/product/market research, internal communications, opportunity sizing, field enablement.


  • Determine customer and market segmentation by identifying, selecting and prioritizing target segments to meet business needs


  • Use data and facts to make decisions, create communication and influence product strategy; connect decision making to ROI and other business KPIs.


  • Conduct user, product and/or market research that fuels the product development and inform GTM strategies


  • Develop impactful gtmarket strategies for products that easily translate and also enable regional teams


  • Formulate value propositions for partners to introduce existing/new products


  • Validate and refine value propositions through end-user testing (qualitative and quantitative)


  • Proactively manage stakeholders across the organization: listen, influence and share information in the right medium at the right time, engaging local and global audiences.


  • Actively monitor commercial performance per segment / channel / geography


  • Identify and quantify business opportunities and prepare business case for leadership sign-off


  • Drive and lead the commercialization of products

Requirements of special knowledge/skills


  • Bachelor degree


  • Product marketing experience


  • Ability to manage projects across multiple departments and stakeholders


  • Strategic thinker, able to balance long-term vision with short- and medium-term goals


  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)


  • Project management skills


  • Ability to multi-task and to work on multiple projects
