40h/week - hourly rate 60-76 euro

Job Description:

The Project Manager is responsible for the governance and project management of initiatives within the Fintech Division. The Project Manager role will partner with the various teams across the partner experience division to support, and proactively work with them, to facilitate the work occurring between them and the business units and centralized functions. They will help the teams to scope and plan the projects by helping to document the project goal, KPIs, roadmap and main deliverables.

The Project Manager will ensure that the projects of Fintech teams are managed in a consistent manner, whilst working with the business units & central functions within Booking.com to build engagement and where needed governance over decisions needed for work to be signed off. In some cases, the role requires dealing with external vendors and managing external stakeholders.

The Project Manager will also help the different teams to mitigate the project risks and dependencies to make sure there is progress towards the project's milestones. The Project Manager will ensure the team's roadmaps/plans focus on agreed business priorities, dependencies and strategies – designed based on data and business needs, and deliver against the shared objectives & goals.

Job requirements

Looking for a project manager that has exposure to working on complex/big programs where things move very fast. Someone that is hands on and will drive tasks to completion. Someone that works well with a team and is a team player. Someone that works independently with limited direction. Works with product and tech teams as well as business stakeholders.

• Years of experience: 5+ years relevant work experience, with relevant delivery of technical projects and/or programs (ideally internally within in a complex organisation)

Soft Skills;

• Clear Communication style both written and verbal - ability to translate this

• at team and strategic level in both status updates and escalations and Risk mgmt.

• Extremely quick at adapting to situations and picking up complexity quickly.

• Autonomous work style and comfortable working with Product lead, product engineering teams (matrix org).

Technical Skills

• Condent in the delivery process of software/products, Comfortable in understanding basic technical architectures and how various pieces may impact up or down stream.

• Condent in supporting and driving QA cycles and managing technical integrations and testing

• Experience in Payments Platform / Fintech.

• Experience of Regulatory Onboarding programs. Solid understanding of the use of data in decision making + being able to apply that to their Delivery mgmt.dependencies in complex systems.
