Salesforce Developer

The Strategic Partnerships Department at Booking.com has selected SalesForce to be its CRM. As Salesforce developer you will be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of elegant solutions in our Salesforce instance. You will join the Operational Excellence team and collaborate with our Sales, Marketing, Service Delivery, Finance and Analytics leaders to translate business needs into efficient solutions within the systemThis is primarily an individual contributor role, where it is possible to coach and mentor others depending on skills, experience, development plans and business needs. This is a great opportunity for someone with Salesforce developer experience that is really looking to grow their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Build custom solutions on the platform using Apex, Lightning (LWC, Aura), Visualforce

  
  

• Execute integration testing with Apex test classes and maintain maximum code coverage

  
  

• Develop complex integrations between SFDC and other systems through custom API or middleware tools such as Mulesoft

  
  

• Write Apex using industry standard best practices and design patterns

  
  

•  Collaborate with the Salesforce Application Specialist and Stakeholders in gathering business requirements from end-users, including members of the leadership team, and document the proposals for system design and improvements;

  
  

• Implement standard Salesforce functionality including sharing rules, roles, profiles, etc. and use standard features including Workflow, Process builder, and Flows to create solutions

  
  

• Influence the development and deployment strategy across the team from Investigation to Adoption

Requirements of special knowledge/skills:

• Salesforce Certifications:Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer
