As a SAP developer, you will be responsible for implementing technology that enables and extends solutions to meet business requirements and fits into Booking.com's system architecture. Responsible for implementing changes and new functions, testing new developments, collaborating with SAP specialists, stakeholders and developers. Give strong support for maintaining and improving all Financial processes, systems and functionalities, which requires good understanding of Financial principals, terms. Actively contributing in identifying best technical solutions together with SAP specialists. Help to train and grow junior colleagues. Learn and share knowledge of new technologies.

B.responsible
Converting business requirements into technical design and implement them in line with existing standards and system architecture
Partner with functional stakeholders to deliver innovative S/4HANA solutions using Agile methodologies, integrating them smoothly into the SAP DevOps lifecycle for continuous delivery.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs utilizing the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), ABAP Managed Database Procedure (AMDP) and Core Data Services (CDS), strictly adhering to SAP’s "clean core" principles and enterprise architecture standards.
Build test options for technical solutions, using Booking.com's test methodology and tools
Create, review, and maintain living technical documentation (architecture decisions, API specifications) in centralized repositories to guide internal and external technical teams.
Develop highly responsive and intuitive user experiences using SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring alignment with Fiori Design Guidelines.
Implement bug fixes, enhancements, and new features through modern transport management pipelines, leveraging tools like abapGit or Active Control for seamless, risk-free deployments.
Convert stakeholder user stories into highly detailed technical specifications focusing on S/4HANA data models, virtual data models (VDM), and business logic.
Contribute to the team spirit by encourage the openness for new solutions, continuous learning and innovation
Foster a modern engineering culture by promoting a DevOps mindset, continuous learning, and the adoption of modern development practices like "Clean ABAP."
Optimize and redesign old functions, to improve business processes using SAP best practices
Mentor team members and cross-functional colleagues on S/4HANA best practices, SAP DevOps workflows, and modern cloud-native SAP development.
Exposure to Java Spring boot and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
B.skilled
Have good knowledge of financial processes, accounting functions and activities
Advanced level of knowledge of ABAP with at least 10-15 years of development experience.
Hands-on experience with SAP Systems and its ABAP development techniques for RICEFW, WebService and API development.
Excellent understanding of CDS views, RAP data model, AMDP and SAP LUW.
Excellent hands-on experience in SAP UI5 and FIORI.
Experience with S/4 HANA development is a must.
Good development knowledge of new ABAP 7.5x syntax (CDS, RAP, AMDP)
Exposure to advanced SAP technologies like BTP is an advantage.
Worked on Finance Tax, RTR, Treasury WRICEF’S is an advantage
Basic working Knowledge on Kubernetes, Git, Harness and Java Spring Boot.
