Senior Change & Comms Manager (For independent contractors)
We are seeking a Senior Change & Comms Manager to own the narrative, brand and engagement plan for our Tech Enablement Program. This role is critical in "winning the hearts and minds" of our engineering community, ensuring that complex architectural and operational shifts are understood, valued, and embraced.
You are a master storyteller who can hit the ground running to build a high-impact communication strategy from scratch. Your primary mission is to take disparate technical initiatives and weave them into one simple, cohesive story that drives engagement. You will act as the strategic communications partner to the Portfolio TPM and Tech VPs, ensuring our leaders are equipped with the right messages to lead the change effectively.
Core Program Drivers
You will be responsible for the communication and engagement strategy across three critical pillars:
How we work Together (Operational Efficiency & Agility): Communicating the shift toward speed, narrowed focus, and the removal of cross-team dependencies and blockers.
How we Build & Run (Engineering Excellence): Branding the efforts to eliminate engineering friction, automate system maintenance, and create consistent, scalable delivery environments.
What Tech we build (Architectural Evolution): Telling the story of our architectural modernization
Key Responsibilities
Develop and own the "Tech Enablement" change narrative, corresponding artefacts and the portfolio-wide comms and engagement plan.
Craft key messages for leadership, ensuring consistent and impactful leadership messaging.
Deliver creative content (town halls, blogs, video) that drives emotional buy-in and cultural alignment.
Partner with Global Comms and Change Management to ensure messaging is synchronized with company-wide goals and adoption milestones as well as embedded in our global communications ways-of-working.
Requirements
Experience: 10+ years in strategic communications, with a proven ability to "hit the ground running" in fast-paced, ambiguous tech environments.
Technical Storytelling: Expert at translating complex technical concepts into inspiring, human-centric narratives.
Senior Influence: Track record of acting as a counterpart to VP/SVP-level leaders.
Technical Literacy: Ability to understand and communicate the value of SDLC, DevOps, and modern architectural principles.
Collaboration: Skilled at navigating matrixed organizations and working seamlessly with cross-functional leads.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience communicating large-scale architectural or cultural transformations to developer audiences (2000+ engineers).
Background in internal communications for "Product-Led" or "Tech-First" companies.
