About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Change Manager to accelerate the People Transformation at Booking.com — a global programme reshaping how our People function operates.

This role will support and strengthen the existing Change & Engagement team, working alongside internal leads to bring additional capacity, structure, and momentum to the delivery of the change plan.

We’re not looking for a “pure strategist.” We need someone senior enough to challenge and guide, but pragmatic enough to co-deliver — someone who can flex between coach, doer, and integrator.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with the People Transformation Director and the Change & Engagement leads to translate the transformation strategy into clear, actionable engagement and adoption plans.

  • Help orchestrate and connect change activities across workstreams, Change Management, and Communications.

  • Shape key messages, toolkits, and materials to support the rollout of the new People Operating Model.

  • Support stakeholder engagement with senior leaders, managers, and People teams across global locations.

  • Coach workstream leads and change champions on local adoption strategies.

  • Monitor change progress, flag risks early, and help keep the overall plan on track.

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in large-scale change and transformation, ideally within HR or operating model redesign.

  • Proven ability to work in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with multiple senior stakeholders.

  • A low-ego collaborator who can both advise and deliver.

  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills — able to connect strategy to action and bring clarity to complexity.

  • Experience working in matrixed, global organisations.

  • Comfortable working through others and building capability, not dependency.
