Senior FIS Treasury Specialist (For independent contractors)
We are hiring a Treasury Consultant — FIS to be part of the team that is responsible for the end-to-end treasury management system (primarily FIS Quantum & Trax) for Booking Holdings. You will work closely with Finance teams to deliver technical and functional solutions, improve treasury operations, and drive successful go-lives.
You’ll help implement FIS Quantum & Trax modules including Cash Management, Investments, Intercompany, Debt, and FX , configuring each to address complex structures. You’ll also assist to establish secure banking connectivity via SWIFT and Host-to-Host, and rigorously test integrations. Responsibilities include preparing business requirements documents, blueprints, status reports, and updates, as well as providing go-live support and resolving post-implementation queries to ensure smooth operations.
As a Senior FIS Treasury Specialist, you will be expected to:
Be the designer of the solutions for new initiatives, day-to-day optimization, setting up new functionalities, customizing or modifying existing functionalities to transform the as is processes.
Utilize your knowledge of FIS Treasury and integration with other ERP modules like FI/Payments to contribute to design solutions which meet business objectives and goals.
Be open to learn new technologies and ERP’s that are leveraged by Booking Holdings brands.
Participate in the development of solution design documents, functional design documents, configurational rationale, testing and deployment.
Partner with business owners and digital teams to identify opportunities for improvement and offer up appropriate solution designs to meet business objectives
Through your experience of FIS Treasury you will translate business requirements into system configuration which meet business requirements.
This role involves extensive daily interaction with functional specialists, developers in all finance and IT departments in Booking Holdings brands. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of finance processes and integration with legacy systems and you have strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills in English.
Due to the rapid and continuous growth of the organization, the tasks and duties of this role may evolve over time. You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and to take on additional challenges and responsibilities as they occur.
Gather requirements, map to system capabilities, recommend best practices, and produce BRDs, blueprints, specifications and status reports.
Configure Quantum Module & Payment Hub Modules according to specifications.
Establish bank connectivity (SWIFT, Host-to-Host) and work with banking partners.
Design and run tests (unit, system, integration, readiness, UAT) using client data to validate outcomes.
Provide go-live and post-implementation support; resolve product and configuration issues.
Mentor and lead implementation teams; deliver training to users and junior team members.
Maintain project deliverables and proactively highlight and mitigate risks.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, IT, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field.
10 + years’ experience in corporate treasury, banking treasury, or treasury consulting; implementation with treasury software.
Hands-on experience with FIS Quantum, Trax & ERP connector for Treasury Management System (3–4 end-to-end implementation projects preferred)
Strong knowledge of treasury operations, cash accounting/GL, bank payment systems and treasury financial instruments (FX, securities, repos, derivatives, mutual funds, hedge accounting).
Experience in hosted/SaaS and on-premise implementation environments and multiple software development lifecycles.
Proficiency with relational databases and SQL (Oracle/SQL Server) and report-writing tools.
Experience producing functional specifications, UML/use cases, and business process models.
Strong presentation, communication and client-facing skills; fluency in English.
