We are looking for a Program/Project Manager to help us organize and manage a growing portfolio of medium and large initiatives that need to be executed on time and with great quality, solid experience within Finance is a must. The candidate will join the Operational Excellence team in the Strategy and Operations direction in Finance.
As a Program/Project Manager, you will coordinate & manage complex technology, business critical projects both from the compliance and operational perspectives that may span across finance domains or multiple departments. You will work closely with people of diverse functional and technical backgrounds (a.o. Financial Systems, Finance Product & Technology, Treasury, Global Credit Control, Revenue operations, Payments/PayOps, Tax, etc.) and will be based in Amsterdam.
Your goal is to structure, plan, coordinate, and enable individual teams/departments to execute, while keeping the overall objectives & success in sight. We seek a strong stakeholder manager who will take full ownership and accountability for projects with a global scope combining traditional and modern project management methodologies as well as coaching and supporting your team members to achieve the desired level of maturity when it comes to project management.
Additionally the responsibilities of the candidate will include setting up a Tax Operations team in Finance (processes, systems, people) to deal with the ever increasing complexities and workloads to keep the company compliant.

B.Responsible:
Own the successful delivery of the end-to-end project lifecycle and Tax Operations in Finance:
Operational responsibility under the O2C department for Tax Compliance.
End responsible for the timely delivery of multiple project/initiative(s) both within and outside the Finance department.
Scoping, planning and defining success criteria aligned with business objectives for project delivery with medium/Large complexity initiatives.
Understand milestones and impediments. Tracks and report progress, manages overall timelines, dependencies, risks & issues & monitor interdependencies (within & outside project)
Create clear project plans together with involved departments and collaborate with cross functional teams to identify & build action plans
Apply change management processes and tools to build a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
Enable team members & leaders from involved departments to make quality decisions
Hold project members accountable for the delivery of their part of the project
Engage stakeholders at all levels inside and outside of the organization
Supports building of PM capabilities within the organization and other teams
B.Skilled:
Experienced program/project manager with 8+ years with a proven track record in managing the full end-to-end project lifecycle on technology and business projects.
Hands-on work and proven experience in finance operations and/or accounting
Finance processes knowledge is a must with deep experience in the O2C operational processes and Tax processes is highly desirable.
Solid understanding and practical experience on multiple project management methodologies: waterfall, agile, hybrid, DMAIC, etc. and proven track record of managing both Finance and IT teams.
PMP/Prince2 or Agile Project Management or equivalent certification is preferred.
Lean Six Sigma green belt certification and overall continuous improvement methodologies knowledge is a plus
Proven ability to navigate & execute projects in agile environment, without over-engineering things and coping with uncertainty and ambiguity
Enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment and able to work under pressure
Pragmatic, able to solve several impediments by him/herself & can-do mindset
Solid understanding of change management and able to guide people through change
SAP knowledge is a plus

Ability to work and efficiently get along with different collaborators up to (senior)Director and VP level.
Strong communicator who can deal with ambiguity & conflicting priorities.
