Department & Team Overview


  • This role is part of the Digital Partner Experience Track (DPE), which works to engage with partners through digital marketing channels to use our platform more effectively and grow their business across all lifecycle stages. When partners grow their business with us, it directly influences our company’s top-line results. The department delivers personalized commercial advice via scaled channels, inspires, educates, and informs partners via our platforms and channels, and provides self-support via our content.



  • Our target audience is all accommodation partners globally who are currently in partnership with or in the process of partnering with Booking.com. The DPE teams engage with partners through digital marketing channels, driving digital marketing strategies such as content marketing, product marketing, and go-to-market strategies.



Role Overview


  • The Lead - UX is a pivotal role that shapes the user experience for our partners.  This role owns the information architecture and drives the overall UX/UI strategy for the Partner Hub platform, with a focus on delivering a scalable and user-friendly experience that boosts engagement, satisfaction, and performance.



  • During the caretaking period (maternity leave) you will be taking over driving key projects that improve the partner experience and deliver increased impact to department KPIs. You will be working together with internal (content, marketing as examples) as well as external teams (design and development agency).



Key Job Responsibilities and Duties


  • Deliver Strategic UX Projects: Spearhead complex projects, aligning department goals with customer/partner needs, and continuously enhancing the platform's UX leading to increased user engagement.


  • Backlog Management: Effectively co-manage and prioritize your projects (and issues) on the Partner Hub backlog based on business impact, ensuring timely delivery and resource efficiency.


  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage and align key stakeholders around performance indicators and goals to drive projects forward and achieve meaningful outcomes.


  • Expertise: Learn how our platform works to consult, educate, and support team members.


  • Vendor Management: Co-manage collaboration with external agency, ensuring the Partner Hub backlog is delivered on time and within budget.




Role Qualifications and Requirements


  • Customer Insights: Proven track record of using partner insights (and data) to understand partners' needs and behaviors.


  • Design Thinking: Able to develop customer centric creative solutions that also satisfy business requirements - leading designers through the process.


  • Business Acumen: Able to develop an understanding of Booking’s objectives, key results, partner perspectives, and company operations.


  • Team Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills for engaging with and gaining support from key stakeholders. Positive communication skills to motivate and influence collaborators and lead the delivery of projects and objectives.


  • Project Management: Methodical in breaking down (complex) work and delivering against timelines and of agreed quality, and able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively self reliantly.


  • Tech Literacy: Ability to collaborate with technical teams to deliver and test work based on hypotheses and user stories.
