Job Description:

The Manager Business Operations plays a pivotal role in driving the operational efficiency, planning and cross-functional collaboration of the People Tech function.. They will work closely with the People Tech leadership team (LT) and other People Department teams to optimize business processes, streamline operations and achieve our organizational goals.

The Manager Business Operations is responsible for designing, driving and overseeing the day-to-day operations (strategy, systems, execution, intelligence and performance) of our business to ensure it runs effectively and efficiently, to achieve shared objectives and mitigate key risks and dependencies. They will also drive and facilitate the adoption of Company wide processes within People Tech impacting major strategic initiatives.

The Manager Business Operations partners with People Tech LT to make sure the right prioritization is in place, People Tech objectives, plans and budget are identified and that the right tracking is in place to monitor progress and KPIs of those.

The Manager Business Operations acts as the People Tech's single point of contact for all yearly business planning activities, as well as the execution of the planned activities after annual budget submission. They will also facilitate alignment between departments and make sure the results of the yearly planning will be correctly identified and followed up.



Key Responsibilities

- Lead the annual planning process in collaboration with the People Tech leadership and teams to translate company strategy and priorities into function level objectives, initiatives, success metrics and tangible operational plans.

- Facilitate the adoption of company-wide planning process through all the different phases, including driving and facilitating cross departments handshakes and dependencies planning process.

- Build recommendations for leadership where major adjustments or reprioritizations are required to align strategic objectives and/or financial commitments.

- Design, implement and/or execute thoughtful, yet simple, processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

- Drive the optimization of business operations by driving adoption of standardized processes across People Tech to increase efficiency and effectiveness while also simplifying where possible.

- Define, execute and manage the rhythm of the business working closely with People Tech Leadership Team (LT), ensuring an effective adoption of Corporate cadence (eg. Quarter Operational Reviews, Strategic Portfolio Management tracking, Planning and Budget, etc) and an efficient governance of People Tech.

- Actively manage the People Tech success metrics, program performance and budget scorecards with clear ownership and accountability (tracking and reporting), providing insights and recommendations to People Tech LT.

- Lead the cross-functional collaboration efforts among various teams, departments, and stakeholders.

- Acts as a central point of contact, streamlining processes, fostering teamwork, and driving operational efficiency.

- Effectively influence across all levels, including People Department leadership.

- Lead the design & implementation of structured methodology to ensure an effective way of running business as usual operations.
