The Lead drives commercial impact by optimizing various digital marketing efforts to enhance product adoption, partner performance, and overall partner satisfaction on the platform. This role involves establishing scalable partner-centric conversations and nurturing digital relationships with accommodation partners globally. The Lead owns strategies and delivery within their specific area of expertise, continuously optimizing digital touchpoints and initiatives across the partner lifecycle.


The area ownership entails: setting the 1 - 2 year ambition and strategy for the area, defining and evolving the key performance metrics, innovating on current practices, integrating new technological and business opportunities, leading complex projects to deliver on the set expectations, proactively seeking for collaboration with other areas in the department and beyond to increase collective impact, being the advocate on behalf of the Digital Partner Experience department beyond your own scope.



Key Responsibilities


  • Scope: Take ownership and drive the development of a scope of the digital partner experience within your area of expertise, aiming to significantly enhance our partners' interactions and overall experience with Booking.com



  • Drive Performance: Set KPIs and performance targets based on business goals, partner insights, and performance data. Use data to create hypotheses and positive signals. Continuously optimize through structured experimentation and tactics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.



  • Backlog Management: Manage and prioritize a backlog of hypotheses and projects based on their business impact and the impact on the partners, ensuring timely delivery and efficient allocation of resources.



  • Project Management: Lead complex projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals and partner needs while managing technical implications and barriers. This involves fostering collaboration and alignment across teams, communicating outcomes and learnings to stakeholders, and validating, monitoring project results to drive continuous improvement.



  • Drive Innovation: Collaborate with technical, product and commercial teams to drive innovation based on hypotheses and user stories, aiming to improve business impact, reduce time spent, and increase partner experience through technology-driven solutions.



  • Collaboration: Effectively achieve your impact drivers within the scope of responsibility by fostering enhanced stakeholder collaboration. This involves actively engaging with and gaining the support of key stakeholders, ensuring their alignment with performance indicators and goals to drive meaningful outcomes.



  • Analytics: Lead analysis within your scope, independently and with data analysts support, to assess impact, derive actionable insights, and define data-driven hypotheses. Use these insights to inform strategic decisions and drive improvement


  • Authority: Be seen as an authority in your specific craft - as defined in the sibling Job Descriptions - by sharing knowledge and insights, thereby making your impact visible and positioning oneself as an expert within the business. This involves guiding, consulting, educating, and supporting team members within and outside the department.


  • Voice of the Partner: Serve as the voice of partners within the organization, advocating for their needs and perspectives.



Requirements of special knowledge/skills


  • Bachelor degree or higher


  • 5 to 8 years of work experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Product Marketing.


  • Proven track record of commercial impact through digital marketing efforts.


  • Data literacy and the ability to use data to build actionable insights.


  • Experience working in a sizable marketing environment, preferably in a multinational B-to-B context.


  • Business acumen to quickly understand Booking’s objectives, and key results, partner and consumer perspectives as well as the way all parts of the company work together to realize our ambitions.


  • Strong and resilient team player with a high degree of flexibility, problem-solving and positive communication that motivates and influences the achievement of team objectives.
